Climb Mt.Kilimanjaro, Empower girls
This is a fundraising event for a project which aims to empower school girls who are poor and can not afford to buy pads hence missing school and some get diseases.
This is a new Initiative to Fight against Sanitary Pads problem for most of the young girls in Tanzania especially Rural Areas. It has been reported that girls are missing school between 4 to 7 days Monthly which is equal to 48 to 84 days Yearly due to inaccessibility and affordability of Sanitary Pads during their Menstruation period to most of girls from Marginalized society and poor Families in Tanzania. Too bad others are dropping school for the same problem.
The Move is expected to keep girls in School and ensure their-well being, enhancing dignity and respect of rights.
